Safe + Nurturing + Fun Environment
Philosophy
Lakes Early Learning Center provides play-based learning experiences to children, during the most formative years of their lives. Through play-based experiences, children will develop a strong foundation to prepare them for a successful future.

Lakes Early Learning Center provides high quality care and education to children six weeks through 4th grade. Our curriculum promotes the whole-child approach, fostering all areas of learning and development from social-emotional and cognitive skills to literacy, math, and science understanding. This is accomplished through play-based learning experiences.
Many hands-on opportunities are provided to children of all ages including cooking, gardening, caring for animals, guest speakers, and field trips to local parks and businesses, and much more - the possibilities are endless!
Health + Wellness
Lakes ELC will promote health and wellness by providing planned physical activities and nutritious snacks & meals. Physical activity will be incorporated into each class throughout the day, including during music and story times and also regularly scheduled outdoor play. Meals will be served family style to promote social skills, language & vocabulary development, decision making skills, and healthy choices. Family style dining is an excellent way to model manners and develop positive peer relationships and child-adult relationships. From an early age, proper hygiene will be taught to the children, and the children will learn about the importance of proper hygiene, specifically including hand washing and teeth brushing.

During these formative years, Lakes ELC has an opportunity to help children form positive, healthy, and lifelong habits that will benefit the children’s health & wellness for many years to come.
